Letter tracing builds the two skills young readers need at the same time: knowing the letter and forming it. This sheet covers the first half of the alphabet, one letter at a time.
How to use it
Trace the big uppercase letter, then the small lowercase one. Say the letter name and sound as you write, then say the example word — ant, ball, cat — so every letter is tied to a sound. Do beginning sounds next, then finish the alphabet with N–Z.
