New rhymes to find

Set 2 keeps the same game but with new word families: -op, -ig, -un, and -et. Rhyming words still sound the same at the end, no matter how they start.

How to use it

Say the words out loud and compare the endings, not the beginnings. If you need a warm-up, do set 1 first. After rhyming, try CVC words to keep building sounds into words.

👩‍🏫 Teacher note

Say each word aloud. Point out that rhymes share the same ending, like mop and top (-op).

🏠 Parent note

Play it as a game: say a word from the sheet and have your child call back a rhyme.

Common Mistakes to Watch For

  • Choosing a word that starts the same instead of ends the same
  • Not saying the words aloud to compare endings

Answer Key
